Rooted in the land.

From soil to story.

I’m Jenna Lingley — storyteller, sun-chaser, and a girl who’ll never turn down a double double or a day on the farm.

Jenna was born and raised in the foothills of Alberta, where long summer evenings and the hum of cattle shaped her way of seeing the world. Raised on a commercial cattle operation, her love for livestock ran deep — and it truly caught fire when she began managing the show string for Eionmor Stock Farm, one of Canada’s leading Shorthorn programs. That spark turned into a dream of raising a herd of her own.

After marrying Steve, the two settled near Irma — a quiet prairie town with deep roots and wide-open skies. Together, they built on the foundation laid by the Lingley family, growing Lingley Livestock into a respected program producing Shorthorn and Angus genetics with intention and care.

Jenna’s path wasn’t conventional, but it was always her own. After earning her Land Administration certificate at Olds College, she dove into the oil and gas industry — working her way up from pressure trucks to Maintenance Planning and Scheduling in the office. No matter the role, she showed up with determination and drive. But creativity had always lived in her bones — and eventually, she chose to build something that wove all the threads of her story together.

That’s how Sage & Soil came to be.
A blend of artistry and agriculture.
A business built on storytelling, branding, and a deep respect for honest work.

Entirely self-taught, Jenna learned the ins and outs of creative business by marketing and designing for their own program first — gaining real-world insight into what works, what doesn’t, and how to build something that lasts. Her work is known for its honesty, warmth, and quiet strength — much like the people she serves.

She believes deeply in cheering others on. Whether it’s a young creative finding their footing or a ranching family building their brand — Jenna’s the first to stand behind them with encouragement, clarity, and heart.

To her, success isn’t a title or a finish line. It’s the quiet knowing that you’re doing what you were made to do. Every time life tries to pull her off that path, somehow, it leads her right back here — building with intention, telling stories that matter, and honouring the land and the people who live close to it.
